Connecting with Alumni
“The wilderness is an untamed, unpredictable place of solitude and searching. It is a place as dangerous as it is breathtaking, a place as sought after as it is feared. But it turns out to be the place of true belonging, and it’s the bravest and most sacred place you will ever stand.” – Brene Brown
Nearly every student who has come to True North reports that this was a place where they felt a sense of true belonging — within their group and their families, and with the natural world. It is a unique and extraordinary experience, and it is important to us that our graduates and their families have a way to stay connected to True North. We love to hear updates from our students and their families and have dedicated a specific liaison to support this connection.
We provide a variety of ways for our alumni to stay connected with True North and the important relationships they build in this environment. Upon graduation, each family is given the opportunity to choose their alumni connection preferences. We are currently scheduling regional alumni gatherings, service projects, and adventure trips. If you are an alumnus of True North and would like to be on our e-mail list, please find us on social media or reach out to Alison McHugh, our Research and Alumni Coordinator.
