ALUMNI TRIPS AND EVENTS

Therapeutic Wellness for Young Adults

Join us for a week in the incredible backcountry of Southern Colorado!

Surrounded by 14,000 ft. peaks, we will be charging off for a new adventure each day and then kicking back in our beautiful basecamp every evening.

We are now accepting applications for the June, 2020 expedition to the Elk range of the Rocky Mountains.  This custom trip offers a combination of fun and exciting adventures, challenging activities and quality time with other alumni and True North staff in a spectacular wilderness setting assisted by experienced world class guide company, Irwin Guides.

Trip Details:

This coed “glamping” trip is strictly for True North alumni ages 18 and older and will entail highly physical activities in stunning locations as well as opportunities for relaxation, reflection, and connection.  Trip highlights may include whitewater rafting, kayaking, paddle boarding, mountaineering, and rock climbing. Applicants must have a strong desire to connect with others while embracing the opportunity to unplug and enjoy the natural setting.

Guests will fly into Denver International Airport on Thursday, June 18th, meeting up with other alumni and True North staff. On  Friday morning, June 19th, we will hop on board our private chartered ride to Crested Butte (5 hr. drive southwest) and connect with Irwin Guides who will be hosting us for the week. Transportation will be provided back to Denver in the afternoon/evening on Thursday, June 24th.  Guests should plan to stay overnight near the airport for travel home on Friday, June 25th.

Participants must be in good physical health and up for the adventure.  If this isn’t the right time for you to participate in a trip like this, but you are interested in connecting, please reach out to our Alumni Coordinator, Alison McHugh, to inquire about other opportunities for staying connected to True North.
