True North is thrilled to announce some exciting changes to the clinical team. Bo Bicknell will be leading the team as Clinical Director, Evan Oppenheimer will run the young adult group, and Michael Domey has joined the team to work with adolescent boys.
Bo Bicknell, LCSW has provided exceptional care to adolescent and young adult clients both as a clinician and as a leader in the field department for over 10 years. He brings all of this experience as well as insight and compassion to the Clinical Director position. When asked about the new role, Bo said, “I’m honored to have the opportunity to broaden my focus and collaborate in new ways with such a talented clinical team.” Bo will support the team with supervision and advancing best practices, and will not have a caseload.
True North young adults and their families will be in exceptional care with Evan Oppenheimer, LMHC, CCTP-II. He is eager to build on his training and experience with trauma-informed therapy, identity development, and complex social, emotional and learning profiles with both adolescent and young adult clients. Evan says, “I am grateful to have worked with the adolescent group for over 7 years and am ready to support our young adults in successfully launching into lives of health, wellness and independence.”
We give a warm welcome to Michael Domey, MS, CATP as he joins the clinical team. Michael specializes in trauma, ASD, attachment, anxiety, and depression. A homegrown Vermonter, Michael brings superior intuition and strong clinical experience developed at a respected wilderness therapy program. As the Course Leader in the adolescent boys group, Michael says, “I draw heavily on a relational approach, and appreciate the experiential and rich learning environment at True North.”
Thanks for all you do Bo, Evan, and Michael!
