Sarah Calnan
Medical Director
A New Englander at heart, Dr. Sarah Calnan (she/her/hers) grew up in Massachusetts and has also lived in Maine and Connecticut. She has many special memories of Vermont, as her family has a life-long tradition of camping in the Green Mountains that continues to this day.
She attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst for her undergraduate and master’s degrees and went on to attend medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. Following medical school, she completed her psychiatry residency at the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT. She is board-certified in Psychiatry and Neurology as well as Addiction Medicine. Since completing her training, Dr. Calnan has many years of experience as a medical director in a variety of settings, including residential programs, PHP/IOP, and outpatient clinics. In her private practice, she focuses on her passion for integrative and holistic mental health care.
